Getting started with Clockwise

With Clockwise, you'll be able to optimise your calendar by reshuffling meetings and creating dedicated blocks of focus time. This guide will help you set up your account and start using the tool effectively in just a few minutes.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Visit Clockwise's website.
  2. Click on the "Get Started" button in the top right corner.
  3. Sign up using your Google account by selecting "Sign in with Google".
  4. Grant Clockwise access to your Google Calendar when prompted.
  5. Once linked, you will be taken to the dashboard where you can adjust your settings.

Step 2: Your first calendar optimisation

  1. In your dashboard, click on "Settings" from the left-hand menu.
  2. Under "Focus Time", toggle on the "Automatically create focus time" option.
  3. Set your preferred focus hours by selecting "Edit" next to "Focus Time" and specifying the time range.
  4. Click on "Save" to apply your changes.
  5. Clockwise will now start rearranging your meetings to create uninterrupted focus blocks based on your preferences.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the "Lunch Holds" feature by going to "Settings" and enabling "Automatically schedule lunch".
  2. To group meetings efficiently, set "Travel Time" in your preferences to allow for breaks between meetings.
  3. Regularly check the "My Schedule" tab to see how your calendar evolves and make manual adjustments if needed.
  4. Use the AI assistant, Prism, by typing in natural language requests like "Create focus time on Wednesdays" for quick adjustments.

Regularly review your focus time settings and adjust them based on your workload. This ensures that Clockwise continually optimises your calendar according to your changing needs.
