Getting started with Notion Calendar
After reading this guide, you'll be able to efficiently manage your schedule using Notion Calendar, leveraging its quick command palette to create and organise events seamlessly.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Notion's website.
- Click on the "Sign up" button in the top right corner.
- Create an account using your email or Google account.
- Once signed in, click on "Templates" in the left sidebar and select "Calendar" to access the calendar view.
Step 2: Your first event
- In the calendar view, click on the "+ New" button at the top right to create a new event.
- Enter a title for your event in the pop-up window.
- Select the date and time for your event.
- Optionally, add details such as location or notes in the description box.
- Click "Save" to add the event to your calendar.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use the command palette by pressing
Cmd + K(Mac) orCtrl + K(Windows) to quickly access features like creating new events or switching views. - Drag and drop events in the calendar to reschedule them quickly.
- Explore the settings by clicking on your profile picture, then "Settings & Members," and adjust your calendar preferences, such as notifications and time zone.

Use keyboard shortcuts to speed up your workflow. For example, pressN to create a new event instantly when in calendar view.
