Getting started with Granola
With Granola, you'll be able to capture and organise meeting notes effortlessly without the distraction of a bot joining your calls. This guide will help you set up Granola and get the most out of its features in under five minutes.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Visit Granola's website.
- Click on the "Get Started for Free" button on the homepage.
- Enter your email address and create a password, or sign up using Google.
- Once you receive a confirmation email, click the link to verify your account.
- Log in to Granola, and you’ll be prompted to grant permission for audio capture. Click "Allow" to enable this feature.
Step 2: Your first meeting note
- Start a virtual meeting on your preferred platform (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
- Open Granola on your desktop while the meeting is in progress.
- Click the "Record Meeting" button on the Granola interface.
- As the meeting proceeds, Granola will automatically capture audio and generate notes in real-time.
- Once the meeting ends, click "Stop Recording" to save your notes. You can access them later under the "Meetings" tab.
Step 3: Get better results
- After saving your notes, review them in the "Meetings" tab. You can edit and highlight key points.
- Use the "Search" feature to quickly find specific notes or topics from past meetings.
- Set up "Tags" for each meeting to organise notes by project or team, making retrieval easier.
- Explore the "Settings" menu to adjust the transcription language or enable notifications for new features.
