Getting started with Influencity

In this guide, you will learn how to set up your Influencity account and discover how to effectively find and manage influencers for your marketing campaigns. By the end, you'll be ready to analyse audience demographics and track campaign performance.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

  1. Go to Influencity's website.
  2. Click on the “Get Started” button located at the top right corner of the homepage.
  3. Choose your plan – the Starter plan is $168/month. Click on “Start free trial” if available.
  4. Fill in your details and create your account. You may need to verify your email address.
  5. Once signed in, complete your profile by adding your business information under the “Settings” tab.
  1. Navigate to the “Discover” tab on the left-hand menu.
  2. Use the search bar to enter keywords related to your target audience or product.
  3. Apply filters such as platform (Instagram, YouTube, etc.), audience demographics, and engagement rates to refine your search.
  4. Click on an influencer’s profile to view detailed analytics, including audience insights and engagement metrics.
  5. When you find suitable influencers, click the “Add to Campaign” button to begin building your campaign.

Step 3: Get better results

  1. Use the “Audience Analysis” feature to ensure the influencers have a genuine following. Pay attention to the “Fake Follower Detection” metric.
  2. Create custom lists in the “Campaigns” tab to organise your selected influencers based on your marketing goals.
  3. Set up alerts for engagement metrics under the “Analytics” tab to track performance in real time.
  4. Regularly review and adjust your influencer selections based on campaign performance data.

Pro tip

Utilise the “Compare Influencers” feature to assess multiple influencers side by side. This can save you time by quickly identifying the best fit for your campaign.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid solely relying on follower counts when selecting influencers. Focus on engagement rates and audience demographics to ensure you’re reaching the right audience for your brand.
