Getting started with Kits AI

In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Kits AI for music production, create your first voice clone, and optimise your results. You'll be making high-quality audio in no time.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to Kits AI.
2. Click on the Sign Up button in the top right corner.
3. Fill in the required details: your email, password, and agree to the terms.
4. Check your email for a verification link and click it to confirm your account.
5. Once verified, log in to your account. You are now ready to explore the platform.

Step 2: Your first voice clone

1. On the dashboard, navigate to the Voice Cloning section.
2. Click on Create New Voice.
3. Choose an artist's voice from the library. Remember, all voices are ethically licensed.
4. Follow the prompts to upload a short audio clip of your own voice (this should be around 30 seconds).
5. Click Clone Voice and wait for the processing to complete. You’ll receive a notification when it’s ready.
6. Once done, go to the My Voices section to find your cloned voice.

Step 3: Get better results

1. Experiment with different voices for various projects. You can switch voices easily in your audio tracks.
2. Use the Audio Effects options to enhance your tracks. Adjust settings like reverb and EQ to achieve the desired sound.
3. Make use of the Preview feature before finalising your audio to ensure it meets your expectations.

Pro tip

When cloning voices, try to use a clear and noise-free recording of your own voice. This will greatly improve the quality of the cloned voice and reduce the need for further adjustments.

Common mistake to avoid

Avoid uploading audio clips with background noise or poor quality. This can lead to subpar voice clones that don’t meet your production standards. Always ensure your recordings are clear and well-paced.
