Getting started with Nifty
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up Nifty for project management, create your first project, and effectively use its features to enhance collaboration and productivity.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to niftypm.com.
- Click on the "Get Started for Free" button on the homepage.
- Enter your email and create a password, or sign up using Google.
- Confirm your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
- Once verified, log in to your new Nifty account.
Step 2: Your first project
- After logging in, click the “+ New Project” button located on the left sidebar.
- Name your project and select a template if desired (you can choose from options like “Default”, “Agile”, etc.).
- Click “Create Project”.
- In the project view, use the “+ Add Task” button to create your first task. Enter the task name and set a due date if needed.
- Click “Save” to add the task to your project.
- To add team members, click on the “Members” tab in the project sidebar, then use the “Invite Members” button to send invitations via email.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use the “Docs” feature by clicking on the “Docs” tab in your project. Here, you can create and edit documents related to your project.
- To chat with your team, click on the “Chat” tab in the sidebar. You can start conversations by clicking on “+ New Chat”.
- Consider using the “Timeline” feature by clicking on the “Timeline” tab to visualise your project schedule and deadlines.
- Use tags and labels on tasks for better organisation and filtering.
