Getting started with Superhuman
After reading this guide, you'll be able to set up Superhuman, navigate your inbox with speed, and take advantage of its AI features to manage your emails efficiently.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to superhuman.com and click on the "Get Started" button.
- Fill in your details to create an account. Note that Superhuman is a paid service, so you may need to enter payment information.
- After signing up, you’ll receive an email to verify your account. Click the verification link to proceed.
- Once verified, follow the prompts to connect your email account(s) (Gmail or Outlook).
Step 2: Your first email
- Open Superhuman and log in.
- Use the keyboard shortcut
Cto compose a new email. - Type the recipient's email address in the "To" field, add a subject line, and write your message.
- To send the email, press
Command + Enter(Mac) orCtrl + Enter(Windows). - To quickly check your inbox, press
I.
Step 3: Get better results
- Use the
Tabkey to navigate through your inbox andEnterto open emails. - To summarise lengthy email threads, open the email and press
Shift + Sfor Superhuman's AI to generate a summary. - Use the
Rkey to reply to emails andFto forward them. - Customise your keyboard shortcuts by going to Settings > Shortcuts. Adjust any shortcuts to better fit your workflow.
Pro tip
Most beginners overlook the "Snooze" feature. When you receive an email that you can't respond to immediately, pressS to snooze it until a later time. This keeps your inbox clear and prioritises important tasks.
