Getting started with Tactiq
In this guide, you will learn how to use Tactiq to capture live meeting captions and generate concise AI summaries. By the end, you will be able to streamline your meeting documentation process effortlessly.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to Tactiq's website.
- Click on the "Get Started" button on the homepage.
- Choose to sign up using your Google account or enter your email address to create a new account.
- Once signed up, install the Tactiq browser extension by clicking on the link provided in your welcome email or directly from the Chrome Web Store.
- After installation, pin the Tactiq extension to your browser for easy access by clicking on the puzzle piece icon in the top right corner and selecting the pin icon next to Tactiq.
Step 2: Your first meeting summary
- Start a meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
- Once the meeting begins, click on the Tactiq extension icon in your browser.
- Toggle the button to "Start Capturing" to enable live caption capturing.
- As the meeting progresses, Tactiq will automatically capture the captions and create a live summary.
- After the meeting, click on the Tactiq icon again and select "View Summary" to see your AI-generated summary.
Step 3: Get better results
- Ensure that captions are enabled in your meeting settings for accurate capturing.
- Use the "Keywords" feature to highlight important topics during the meeting, making it easier to find key points later.
- Adjust the summary settings in the Tactiq dashboard by clicking on the gear icon to set your preferences for length and detail.
