Getting started with Wispr Flow

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to wisprflow.ai.
2. Click on the Sign Up button located at the top right corner of the page.
3. Fill in your details (name, email, password) and click Create Account.
4. Check your email for a verification link and click on it to verify your account.
5. Log in to your account, and you'll be taken to the dashboard.

Step 2: Your first dictation

1. Once logged in, click on the Start Dictation button on your dashboard.
2. Allow the browser to access your microphone when prompted.
3. Begin speaking clearly. Wispr Flow will transcribe your speech in real time.
4. When you’ve finished dictating, click on the Stop Dictation button.
5. Review the text displayed on the screen. You can make edits directly if needed.
6. Copy the text and paste it into your desired application (e.g., Word, Google Docs).

Step 3: Get better results

• Speak in short, clear sentences for the best transcription accuracy.
• Use commands like “new line” or “full stop” to format your text as you dictate.
• Try adjusting the microphone sensitivity in the Settings menu to improve recognition based on your environment.
• Regularly check for updates in the Help section to learn about new features.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to grant microphone permissions. Ensure that your browser has permission to use your microphone, or you won't be able to dictate. Check your browser settings if you're having trouble with the audio input.
