How to Use Rewind AI (now Limitless)

Getting started with Limitless

After reading this guide, you'll be able to set up Limitless, record meetings, and search through your transcriptions effortlessly. This will enhance your note-taking and information retrieval significantly.

Step 1: Sign up and set up

1. Go to limitless.ai.
2. Click on the Sign Up button located in the top right corner.
3. Enter your email address and create a password, then click Create Account.
4. Verify your email if prompted, and log in to your new account.

Step 2: Your first recording

1. Once logged in, locate the Record button on the main dashboard.
2. Click Start Recording. You’ll be prompted to allow access to your microphone. Grant permission.
3. Conduct your meeting or presentation as usual. Limitless will automatically transcribe everything you say and hear.
4. When finished, click Stop Recording. Your recording will be saved automatically.

Step 3: Get better results

1. After recording, go to the My Recordings section on the dashboard.
2. Click on a recording to view the transcription. You can search through the text using the Search bar at the top.
3. Use specific keywords related to your meeting topics to find information quickly.
4. Adjust the playback speed using the slider if you need to review quickly.

Pro tip

Use the Tags feature to label your recordings based on topics or projects. This will make it easier to locate related content later.

Common mistake to avoid

Many users forget to grant microphone access when prompted. If you don’t hear any audio being recorded, check your browser settings to ensure Limitless has permission to access your microphone.
