Getting started with Zoom AI Companion
In this guide, you'll learn how to set up and use the Zoom AI Companion to summarise meetings, draft emails, and enhance your productivity during calls. You'll be ready to make the most of this tool in just a few minutes.Step 1: Sign up and set up
- Go to the Zoom AI Companion website.
- Click on the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner if you don’t have an account. If you already have a Zoom account, click "Sign In."
- Follow the prompts to create your account or log in.
- Once logged in, navigate to your account settings by clicking on your profile icon, then select "Settings."
- Under the "AI Companion" section, toggle the feature to “On” to enable it.
Step 2: Your first meeting summary
- Start a Zoom meeting as usual.
- During the meeting, the AI Companion will automatically listen and take notes.
- After the meeting ends, you will receive a notification in your Zoom chat with a summary of the meeting.
- Click on the link in the notification to view the summary, which includes key points discussed and action items.
Step 3: Get better results
- To draft an email, go to the Zoom AI Companion panel during a meeting and click the "Draft Email" button.
- Provide a brief description of the email you want to send, including any important details.
- Review the draft generated by the AI and make any necessary adjustments before sending it.
- Use the "Integrate" options in settings to connect your Google Drive and Slack accounts for improved functionality and access to documents.
